Prevention and Awareness of Violence Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) - Lilongwe, Malawi

Munakata has been supporting refugees from DRC Congo, Uganda and Burundi who were persecuted from their country of origin due to their sexual orientation and gender identity. They are called “LGBT refugees” and even an asylum country like Malawi is not a safe place for them. Here is the testimony of those refugees inside their home country and after shifting to the refugee camp in Malawi.
